Vehicle Description
1952 Studebaker 2-door hardtop. Rare first year for Studebakers
champion 2-door hardtop, very few made and very few survived. Just
out of a 3M founders estate. We were fortunate enough to buy 13
Studebakers from 1950's-60's. I knew his couriator/retired pilot
connection and friend. Excellent example and rust-free (see
underneath pics). Only 77K actual miles, so average of only 1085
miles per year. Owned approximately 40 years, always garaged,
maintained and pampered. Attractive, correct colors. Nice chrome
and stainless throughout. Interior is original and nice condition.
Excellent headliner, dash paint and chrome all good. Hardly used
white sidewalls. Big, stock 6-cyl (no smoker). Runs strong (motor
likely overhauled at some point). Excellent clutch, recent tune-up,
runs great. Nice shifting 3-speed with desirable working overdrive.
We did complete brake job, so ready to cruise. Have the only
attractive 1952 Studebaker at any classic car show. Show off at the
DQ, cruises, or just plain driving around. Everyone has a Chevy or
a Ford. Be different, be noticed. Opportunity knocks. Besides,
money in the bank or stock market is no fun! Enjoy your real life
asset. Nobody is getting any younger, enjoy now. $12,950.
