For Sale: 2006 Boss Hoss Trike in St. Louis, Missouri

Ever wanted a V-8 powered tricycle? How about one that makes 385 horsepower?We are selling this trike for a local consignor who purchased it out of California in 2018. He sent the trike to Boss Hoss for numerous upgrades mentioned in highlights.

We have such a three-wheeler at MotoeXotica Classic Cars. This tricycle's paint and trim are in overall excellent condition. The bodywork is straight and solid.

Up front is a Pirelli Night Dragon tire, size 130/60B23F with a Boss Hoss inverted fork. In rear are BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires, size 275/60R15 and mounted on Boss Hoss alloy wheels. There are dual, two-piston floating calipers in back and a Brembo dual-rotor twin piston floating caliper in front. This trike rides on an 85-inch wheelbase and has a 8.5-gallon fuel capacity. The seating position is about 30 inches from the ground.

Mounted amidships is a 376 CID V-8 from General Motors making 385 horsepower with a 10.7:1 compression ratio. Mated to this radio is a two-speed, semi-automatic overdrive transmission with lockup and backed by a Ford 7.5-inch rear end.

Boss Hoss Cycles, Inc. was established in 1990 when Monte Warne, the founder of Boss Hoss Cycles, Inc., created his first Chevy V-8 powered motorcycle in his 5000 square foot shop in Dyersburg, TN. Monte, a commercial aircraft pilot and degreed Aviation Airframe and Power plant technician, was the first to design a V-8 powered motorcycle that has a traditional cruiser motorcycle style, look and feel. This was accomplished by his unique approach to the motorcycles single speed (one gear) transmission design. The right angle drive transmission allows the length of the bike to be kept to a minimum and the engine-mounting inline with the frame made for a well-balanced design that is unequaled by any other V-8 powered motorcycles.
