1938 Packard Formal SedanA very rare Packard v12 Formal Sedan being
offered from a private collection. Recent decision to relocate and
downsize the collection. Car was purchased 11 years ago with
59,800:miles, over the past decade vehicle now shows 63,957 miles.
When purchased in 2011 vehicle was sent to Troy, Michigan for a
complete engine driveline rebuild by EDL Services Edward Linn. In
addition a set of Phil Bray touring ring gears were installed to
keep up with today's road speeds. The engine is whisper quiet and
balanced to precise tolerances. All engine and transmission
operations are flawless and leak free. Car tours fantastic as we
completed several 200 mile drives. Show winner Concourse De
Elegance 2018, Snodgrass Award 2016. Please note this Formal Sedan
has very ornate features: pull down opera rear window shade, pillar
bevel glass compartments for perfume and cigars, fold down rear arm
bolster, fold out jump seat for dictation secretary, roll down
split glass for privacy, rear radio controls, running board lights,
fold down trunk storage rack, rear passenger floor heater - heat
cone on exhaust is absent. Appearance items will be rated from 1-10
with 10 as showroom new. Driveline 9.5 minor paint coming off
