This 1990 Ford F250 XL Supercab is a really clean, mostly original,
lower mileage truck that spent its life in the State of Washington.
This truck recently had a lot of maintenance done to it and it is
ready to go. This is a great running and driving truck. The body on
this F250 super clean and rust free. The Shadow Blue Metallic and
Wimbledon White paint is mostly original and still looks great. The
hood and roof were repainted because of fading and clear coat
issues. The trim and chrome all look original and are in great
condition. The underside is also very very clean as you would
expect from a vehicle in this part of the country. We found no rust
issues with this truck.
The interior is really nice on this truck. The seat was
reupholstered and is excellent and the rest of the interior appears
to be original and is also in excellent condition. That includes
the headliner, carpet, door panels, dash, and dash bezel. The
headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all
working. The gauges all work and the heat, wipers, and horn are all
working.
Mechanically this truck is wonderful. It starts easy and runs and
drives great!! The 7.5L 460 V8 engine runs strong and smooth with
no issues or red flags that we could find. The engine has a lot of
new parts within the last 1,000 miles and we have most of the
receipts. This includes a new timing chain, new water pump, new
radiator, new hoses and belts, new belt tensioner, new alternator,
new battery, and full tune-up. The transmission is the E40D
Automatic that shifts nice and it is mated to the Borg Warner
Manual Transfer Case. The 4WD works like it should. The rear axle
is the Ford 10.25 with 4.10 gears and a limited slip. The front
axle is the Dana 44 TTB with 4.10 gears. Other recent maintenance
includes new brakes front and rear, new shocks, new ball joints,
new tie rods, new drag link, and new bushings. All of this work was
done in the last 5-6,000 miles. This truck would make a great
everyday driver or just a fun 2nd vehicle.
