offer this very honest, well sorted, 1960 MGA Roadster for
consideration. The car is presented in Iris Blue over black
interior, with grey soft top. To point out the obvious, the Iris
Blue exterior paint is very old and shows cracking and some peeling
in areas. With this, it does also reveal excellent structural
integrity, and presents itself in an honest, nothing to hide
manner. The car has been driven and enjoyed by all three of the
previous owner motoring enthusiasts. The most recent caretaker went
to great lengths to ensure mechanical fitness so it can continue to
be driven and enjoyed.
The car is powered by a well sorted 1.8 liter MG B engine, 4 speed
manual transmission and rear wheel drive. The car is a fantastic
car to drive. Mechanically it is a fantastic driver, well sorted
and ready for immediate enjoyment. Documentation includes original
driver handbook, a massive file documenting transactions since
1981, photos at different stages of life, a major vehicle
refurbishment in 1991, and upkeep since.
It comes complete with soft top, tonneau cover, side curtains,
history, and a few odds and end spares as any MG should. What a
great opportunity to acquire an example of what is widely
considered, the best MG ever produced.
