Vehicle Description
This 2023 Chevrolet Silverado Bandit Edition is a custom truck that
has an awesome dark sleekness that gives it an outlaw sense of
style. And when you also check out the unique details and useful
body configuration, the distinction will be your reward for
capturing this Bandit.
There's only about 1900 miles on this Chevy, and so the black paint
continues to have that showroom-level luster that makes this both
sporty and mean - all in the first glance. In fact, since we don't
have Pontiac anymore, it seems like the modern Bandit would evolve
to use a Silverado like this. The build takes the time to have the
truck look like a classic Trans Am Special Edition style package.
Chevrolet is the golden bow tie, and there's plenty of extra added
gold to go with the gloss black. It includes the block letting in
the grille, Bandit front fender callouts, and a full Outlaw decal
package on the rear fenders. The pinstripes encircle the truck to
showcase factory flared fenders, distinct aerodynamics under the
headlights, and the tall hood. That T/A-style hood bird is awesome,
and it even fits under the added turbo hood scoop. You'll notice
Bandit logos strategically placed on this pickup, including the
wheels. And those 24-inch alloys remind us of T/A Snowflake wheels,
especially because they also have a terrific black and gold style
to go with the whole truck. Upgrades like the soft tonneau are nice
to have when it's time to get to work. But really, we bet you'll
attach a trailer to the rear hitch rather than risk putting
something jagged in this special edition pickup.
The interior is fresh and loaded. It starts with unique details
like the Bandit logo patch on the passenger glovebox and the dash
has graphics on the center stack that identifies this as Silverado
Edition #3. And because this is a new/modern truck, it's loaded
with the best features. You have air conditioning, power windows,
power locks, power mirrors, an electric rear defogger, automatic
headlights, keyless ignition, dual front airbags, side airbags, and
a touchscreen interface for the AM/FM/XM stereo, backup camera, and
Bluetooth. The seating is quite desirable with a versatile setup
where you have a big back seat Crew Cab, and in the front, you can
fold down the middle jump seat for sports car-like buckets. Plus,
the tilt steering column, cruise control steering wheel, and full
gauges make the driver's seat a command position.
Under the hood is the 2.7-liter turbocharged motor. This feels like
a cool nod to Smokey and the Bandit II where Trigger was a turbo
Trans Am. What's really nice about his motor is that it's at the
technology and innovation end of the Chevy truck spectrum. It's
good for everyday driving both for pep and economy, and the 430
lb-ft of torque rating means you have serious pulling power when
you need it. And the power steering, traction control, and
four-wheel disc brakes with ABS make this an easy anytime cruiser.
Part of the truck's handy versatility is also in the eight-speed
automatic transmission. The computer can select what's the best
gear based on your throttle input to know if you're having fun
around town or hauling a trailer full of Coors.
The sale comes complete with the original window sticker. This
Silverado is a rare truck that reminds us that the best custom
vehicles deliver the best sporty fun. It's time to be the outlaw.
