Vehicle Description
This 1968 Ford Bronco has been in our owners personal collection
since the end of 2019 and is now being offered for sale. It was
originally ordered as a Civic & Government Affairs vehicle and was
purchased by the previous owner about ten years ago.
Work that has been done on it during previous ownership includes
some sheet metal repair followed by new blue paint on the body and
white paint on the top with white/red vinyl stickers and a white
vinyl interior. It is powered by a replacement 302ci V8 from a 1976
donor vehicle that was installed by Oregon Machine Works in Canby,
Oregon. The engine features a Mallory distributor, a Phar radiator,
a K&N Precharger air cleaner, a power steering pump, and chrome
Moroso rocker covers. The three-speed automatic transmission is
also from the 1976 donor and it has a two-speed transfer case and a
Dana 44 front axle with disc brakes. A 2.5? lift helps to clear the
31? BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires on stock 15? steel wheels
with Ford hubcaps .
Additional features of the bronco include power steering, a roll
bar, and a RetroSound stereo, removable fiberglass hardtop,
manually-locking Warn hubs and disc brakes are equipped up front,
and a receiver hitch has been fitted in the rear.
The sheet metal repair mentioned earlier included replacing the
rocker panels due to previous damage as well as rust being removed
from the right floor panel prior to the repaint.
The interior features white vinyl front bucket and rear bench seats
with matching side panels and black vinyl mats. The white-painted
roll cage is from the 1976 Bronco parts vehicle, as are the
body-colored steel dash and Explorer glovebox door. There is a
two-spoke steering wheel with a horn ring, stock instrumentation
along with a tachometer mounted to the 1976 steering column. The
five-digit odometer reads 95,377 miles but the actual chassis
mileage is unknown.
Partial service records from prior ownership, a Deluxe Marti
Report, as well as receipts for work done during current
ownership.
