Chevrolet Camaro for sale in our Mesa, AZ showroom. The
second-generation Camaro was produced from 1970-1981. Camaros were
longer, lower, and wider than the first generation. GM engineers
stated that the second generation was much more of a driver's car
than its predecessor.
The Camaro was the perfect vehicle to go on the hunt for its
primary prey, the Mustang. The gorgeous exterior has sleep bodywork
and is covered in Mulsanna blue poly. The blue bends along the
curves of the fenders, doors, and highlights the white racing
stripes. Moving down the boulevard at night creates a light show of
reflections as it passes envious onlookers. These 1970s have bright
work that enhances the look with graceful touches of polished metal
that accentuates the bumpers.
This Camaro features the TMI high-back racing seats in the front
and you have the vinyl bench in the rear. Sitting in the driver's
seat you stare directly at original gauges, Auto Meter RPM tach,
Hurst quarter stick shifter, and lower down you have an additional
P.S.I gauge as well as a temp gauge.
Under the hood is Chevrolets trusty and powerful 454 big block V8
that has been bored to 462 with a built turbo 350 automatic
transmission (2500 stall converter) with a Lunati high efficiency
cam. There's some flash under this hood. MSD ignition 2 control,
Holley performance carburetor, vacuum canister, fuel pressure
gauge, polished alternator, and aluminum intake. All this power
flows back through an automatic transmission to a 12-bolt rear end.
Custom three-inch exhaust, narrowed rear end, frame connectors,
long tube headers and traction bars. Front disc brakes and rear
drum brakes. The power gets to the ground through 26x6.00R15LT on
the front and Mickey Thompson P275/60R15 on the rear with slotted
wheels.
