Vehicle Description
MaxMotive is pleased to offer a true pre-war classic, a 1937
LaSalle 5019 Four-Door Touring Sedan. This outstanding example
comes with binders containing restoration documents and photos. The
odometer reads 76260, which is believed to be the total actual
mileage. It was stored for 25 years, then a restoration was
completed in 2018 and a recent 300 mile trip verifies the car's
road worthiness. With its imposing presence and 124 inch wheelbase,
it has a limousine-like character especially with the generous back
seat leg, shoulder, and head room - honoring its Cadillac heritage.
V8 power is featured under the hood, with a 322ci L-head engine
working with a 3-speed manual transmission with floor shifter.
Adding to the luxurious feel is all black exterior paint and an
elegant gray cloth interior. Newer components include a rebuilt
Stromberg carburetor, paint and rubber seals, running boards,
exhaust system, carpeting, and battery. It has dual sidemount
spares and comes with a full set of wheel covers. Archie and Edith
sang "Gee our old LaSalle ran great!" because these were great cars
in their time. It's time for you to enjoy this stately 1939 LaSalle
5019. See details and photos at www.maxmotive.com. **********
