Interior
Take a seat inside our TA and you're greeted by a silver leather
interior and a handsome center console housing the 3-speed
automatic transmission. It has the twin front bucket seats, grey
simulated leather-wrapped Formula steering wheel, engine-turned
instrument panel inlay with special red lighting for the
instruments inspired by aircraft, the Rally Gauge cluster which
included both a clock and tachometer, power windows, and air
conditioning, matching side door panels and rear seats, grey

Exterior
The big difference on our '79 10th Anniversary Trans Am is the
never-before-seen silver-and-charcoal scheme with a "super bird" on
the hood with its wing tips extended onto the tops of the front
fenders.
A new cast-aluminum turbo 15 x 8 inch wheel design was in the
package as it also included 10th Anniversary badging and decals,
gray/red pin stripping and decals, the shaker hood, T-Tops, ground
effects and wheel opening spoilers on the sides, air extractors on
the front fenders, and a rear spoiler.
The tail panel appeared to be one continuous blacked-out unit with
the taillamp lenses flanking the centrally positioned fuel-filler
door, cloaked in matching trim.
