The rebuild and modifications were done by Ships Mechanical in Portland, Oregon in 2006.This 109 is now fitted with a 4.6 liter fuel injected Rover V8 with a Tornado chip back by a R380 5-speed transmission and a LT230 transfer case. The suspension has been converted to a coil spring system.
