Vehicle Description
This stunning 1955 Chevrolet Nomad resto-mod sport wagon is a true
beauty. It is painted in show quality Gypsy Red and India Ivory
with a red and white interior, making it a true head-turner.
Highlights include a balanced & blueprinted 350 cu. in. LS-3 motor,
LS-3 fuel injection system, and a 4L70E four-speed automatic
transmission.
For some history on the Nomad, Dr. Gary Seghi purchased it in 1971
from the original owner and used it as a daily driver until 1991.
From that time up to 2015, the Nomad was stored in Dr. Seghi's home
in a climate-controlled garage. After an extensive search for
someone to match his attention to detail, Dr. Seghi entrusted his
longtime friend Bill Collins from Austin, Texas to restore the
vehicle. Bill was known for his meticulous work in both of the
companies he founded, Collins Guitars and Collins Custom Craft.
After Bill passed away, Dr. Seghi went once again on a search to
find the best possible shop to finish the car and that search led
him to Nefarious Kustoms in Las Vegas, Nevada, where the 55'Chevy
Nomad restoration was completed.
This extensive list of equipment and features show the amount of
attention and detail put into this build.
