1967 Plymouth Barracuda S Code Tribute with Hemi 426 V8 Engine, 727
Automatic Transmission, 8 and 3 quarter Rear End, White with White
Bucket Seat Interior. The 2nd generation 67 Barracuda was
completely redesigned on a new, longer wheelbase. Born a 273 180 HP
2-barrel car this Barracuda was transformed into a 2-door pony car
street or drag strip contender by replacing 180 horsepower with a
425 horsepower. Based on the Chrysler A-body utilizing the hardtop
fastback design, it shared a great majority of parts and bodywork
with the Plymouth Valiant. A extremely well-done S Code Tribute
with Coke-bottle side contours and heavily revised front and rear
ends. Design changes included wider wheel openings, curved side
glass, and S-curved roof pillars the fastback coupe was more
streamlined, more steeply raked, and with a much smaller flush rear
window in place of the distinctive massive wraparound in the
original Generation 1 model. 426 Hemi rated @ 425 HP. 10.5 to 1
compression. Forged crank. 4-barrel carburetor. Pavement shredding
rated @ 490 ft lbs torque. 3 speed automatic transmission. 67
