2012 Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG WagonThis car was the SEMA show car for
2014 for Toyo Tires and Rotiform Wheels. It has a custom air
suspension by Boden Autohaus that will drop it onto the ground, an
absolutely giant Brembo brake upgrade and a custom catless exhaust.
The air suspension has Megan Racing arms , bags from DriveTech and
Air Lift Performance, shocks from Bilstein and Air Lift, and an
AccuAir e-Level TouchPad for controlling the suspension height
mounted by the dash. Please be aware that the dashboard shows
'malfunction' for the air suspension because the OEM system has
been removed and replaced with this custom system. Currently riding
on $5,000 Rotiform wheels and has some tasteful body items added. I
have put about $15,000 into the car myself, including some
replacement components for the air suspension and fixing the
wrinkles in the fenders from the previous owner using the wrong
offset wheels. It has a new factory stock computer replaced as part
of a Mercedes bulletin, the old custom tune is now gone due to
licensing, but you can put a Weistec tune in that will put the car
back to 760 hp/852 tq. The car is a rocketship, in excellent shape,
interior is top notch, but it does ride very stiff and harsh due to
the air suspension and 20' wheels and the crappy Detroit roads. I
wouldn't recommend it for Metro Detroit winters, as the huge brakes
necessitate the use of 20' wheels. The car currently has Michelin
Pilot Sport 4 S tires on front, size 255/30-20 and Toyo Proxes T1
Sport on the rear, size 285/30-20, snow tires in this size are
impossible to find right now. The engine sound is fantastic, kind
of like an SRT or Hellcat but with that specific Mercedes V-8
sound, definitely not subtle. I believe the custom exhaust is
ceramic coated, I can't say for sure, see the pic. Will also
include WeatherTech mats currently in the car.
