Vehicle Description
1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor Shelby GT 500 Version
Why This Car Is Special
"Eleanor" was a customized Ford Mustang that was featured in the
1974 film "Gone in 60 Seconds." That "Eleanor" was the only Ford
Mustang in history to receive star title credit in a movie.
That Mustang from Cage's film sold for $1 million at a Mecum
Auction in 2013. You don't have to spend a million to get an
impressive "Eleanor" though, as we have a 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor
Version here at Skyway Classics that is one of the nicest builds
we've ever seen.
No expense spared, and every nut and bolt is either new or
refinished on this car. It is as clean underneath as it is on top.
It has classic looks with modern steering, engine, suspension and
brakes.

Mechanical
Let's start with the engine, this Mustang has a built 351 cubic
inch stroker engine stroked to 427 cubic inches with 600
horsepower. It features Fitech Fuel Injection, an aluminum intake,
performance ignition, Cobra black finned aluminum air cleaner and
matching valve covers, Vintage air conditioning, dual performance
exhaust, and sounds as good as it looks and runs.
The powerhouse is backed up by a 3-speed automatic transmission
with a higher stall converter back to the 8.8 Positraction rear end
with 3:60 gears, and then power is planted to the ground via the
18" Shelby American Racing Wheels and low profile but fat black
sidewall performance tires.
It steers like a new Mustang with the Power Rack & Pinion Steering
and stops on the proverbial dime with the power Cobra Disc brakes
and QA1 Coil Over Front & Rear Shocks.
Interior
The interior is all new and is a great cockpit to pilot this rocket
ship of a Mustang. The MTF Eleanor Interior Kit has bucket 2-tone
seats and matching door panels as well. The superb dash is
transformed with performance gauges, Shelby GT 500 emblems,
stainless accents, and a Shelby style steering wheel.
Eleanor also has a black padded steering wheel, center console
housing the automatic shifter, stereo system, roof console, all
flooring is black with black Shelby floor mats too.
Exterior
The MTF Eleanor body kit used on our Mustang looks great with the
addition of the front molded fiberglass, hood scoop, side scoops,
molded rear spoiler, side window louver scoops, all painted in the
Pepper Grey Metallic paint.
The bumpers have been painted to match and almost disappear from a
distance. Molded side pipes with side exits and chrome mirrors
complete the look from the outside.
