Vehicle Description
The 1982 Studebaker Avanti II was a sleek and stylish sports car
that blended vintage design with modern amenities. The Avanti II
was a continuation of the original Studebaker Avanti, which was
introduced in 1962, but was built by a different company after
Studebaker's bankruptcy in 1966. Vehicle does show some frame
deterioration over the years and will need some attention by next
owner.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this unique 1982 Studebaker
Avanti for your consideration. The example here is in excellent
condition and the body shows well. Under the hood, the Avanti II is
powered by a 305 cubic inch V8 engine, which produced 140
horsepower and 245 lb-ft of torque. This engine was mated to a
three-speed automatic transmission. The car's suspension was
comprised of independent front suspension and a live rear axle with
coil springs, providing a comfortable ride. The car has a Momo wood
steering wheel and rides on whitewall tires. This is a strong
running vehicle that is ready to keep on cruisin'.
