1947 Ford Shop Truck Pickup
Car History
The first-generation of the Ford F-Series is a series of trucks
that was produced by Ford in North America from 1947 to 1952. The
introduction of the F-Series marked the divergence of Ford car and
truck design, developing a chassis intended specifically for truck
use.
We have a restored 1947 Ford F100 Pickup here at Adventure Classics
that was professionally built and it is a one-of-a-kind piece of
rolling art.
You will be stunned when you see this restoration that makes it
look and drive just like it did back in post-war 1947!

Engine & Drivetrain
Open up the hood on this 47 and you will see what we believe to be
the original Ford Flathead engine in all its restored glory,
looking just as it did back then.
It has the iconic flathead design of the heads and valve covers,
carburetor with choke, black painted factory air cleaner system,
and all the rest of the restored stock engine parts that came with
it all sitting in a clean and detailed engine compartment.
The engine is shifted by the manual transmission with all the drive
train from the engine back to the rear end had been rebuilt to run
as well as it did new.
Interior
The interior is left pretty basic with a vinyl bench seat, stock
steering column and Ford steering wheel, the refurbished gauge
cluster in the factory dash, rubber floor mat, red door panels, and
roll up windows.
It all looks as original, looks great, and leaves you plenty of
room to get in and out with ease.
Exterior
The exterior has all been redone too with the period correct look
of the red repaint with black running boards. All the steel parts
come together for a great blend of styling from the past and just a
great looking truck.
The wood bed rail stakes looks nice and has a great addition with
the "shop truck" sign. It rides on original painted Ford wheels
with chrome poverty hub caps and wide whitewall tires for that
authentic ride and stance.
Conclusion
If you want to stand out at the shows and cruises, this 1947 Ford
Pickup we have at Adventure Classics Cars is a literal time-capsule
of a restoration and could be the truck for you.
