Vehicle Description
1958 Corvette project. This project is missing the motor,
transmission, interior and trim so it would make a perfect
candidate for a restomod build where most of these parts are
typically purchased new. The car itself was an old race car with a
roll cage and traction bars. I believe the original color was white
with silver gray interior. At some point it was painted red. The
body is in fair condition. The exterior paint was stripped off and
discovered at some point it was bumped in the LH rear corner. This
corner was professional repaired by a body shop that specializes in
Corvettes. The front clip still needs some work and has cracks
mostly around the grille opening (see last 4 pictures). The hood is
a press molded replacement and will need some body work to fit the
gaps and panel alignment. The trunk lid is an original 58 with the
trunk iron holes filled in but still has the dimples on the
underside. The deck lid is a hardtop only decklid so it will need
the latch holes added if you want a convertible top. I had the body
shop put the car in primer to keep any oils from getting into the
fiberglass. The frame is very solid however the X brace is cut on
both rear bottom sides for traction bars. The frame does not appear
to be bent. These 58 projects in any decent condition are getting
very hard to find. Clear Ohio title. No other parts are included
other than what is pictured! Please Note The Following **Vehicle
