Vehicle Description
The bright smooth paint makes this 1977 Chevrolet C10 instantly
distinctive. And when you see the comfy interior, overdrive
transmission, and fuel-injected V8 upgrade, you can really see how
an award-worthy truck like this is also a terrific all-around
cruiser.
The blue paint is a premium PPG color with a metallic element. The
smooth luster gives the truck's famous square body beefy lines some
added sophistication. It has a cool cruiser style with all the trim
deleted and the tailgate smoothened to give this an extra-sleek
appearance. The billet-style grille, crystal clear upgraded
headlights, bright chrome bumpers, and clean liner paint in the bed
are all about showing off a detailed style. And those polished
20-inch Eagle Alloy wheels add to both the shine and powerful
stance of this pickup. The whole truck has been a long-term passion
project for the consignor, and so it has been updated while it was
also being enjoyed. What that means is an impressive style
everywhere - right down to the shining undercarriage - but not so
perfect that we'd shy away from hitting the Power Tour.
The thoughtful style continues inside. The exterior's blue returns
on the metal parts of the dash and door panels for a uniform look,
and a two-tone gray is the main color theme. The bench is an
updated unit that's finished in clean vinyl with comfy tweed
inserts. The door panels, headliner, carpeting, and dash all have
an inviting presentation with a coordinated style. Plus, you have
some nice extras, like tinted glass, billet door handles, and an
aux cord that lets you hook your iPod/iPhone into the Memphis Audio
stereo system behind the seat. There are even the beginning
provisions for air conditioning (you have the compressor mounted
but you will need more components and lines run.) And a really cool
detail is the power locks on the key fob are also a kill switch
because this classic C10 now has a push-button ignition. And you
know this is ready to be a cruiser with the upgraded sports
steering wheel, a tilt column, and Dakota Digital gauges that have
a cool blue glow that goes with this truck's color theme.
The engine bay has the clean look you'll love. The exterior
metallic blue returns, and it has such a smooth and clean style
that it helps reflect the shine of the polished components. This
has the look of a classic Chevy powerhouse, but it's actually a
younger 5.7-liter V8 borrowed from a late 1990s Silverado. So you
get some worthwhile upgrades, like a serpentine belt system and
fuel injection. But we also like how this keeps the right classic
truck rumble thanks to the addition of Hedman headers and
Flowmaster mufflers on the dual exhaust. A Positraction rear end,
power steering, power brakes, front discs, and a four-speed
automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive make for an
all-around easy cruising custom.
The sale comes complete with restoration photos and build receipts.
