The vast majority of the Eleanor replicas you see online were built
to look like Eleanor, but don't have the equipment or certification
documents to back it up. This one checks all the boxes. This
beautiful 1967 Mustang Eleanor was built with handling and
performance in mind using components sourced from the very best
suppliers. No expense was spared to create a worthy tribute to the
Mustang you saw in "Gone in 60 Seconds", including all new glass,
chrome, bright trim, and show quality paint, to make this one a
standout. Upgrades to this 1967 Mustang S Code include a fuel
injected, balanced and blueprinted, 347 "stroker" engine;
developing close to 400 HP. The lighter, free-revving short deck
engine makes a noticeable improvement in handling, delivering that
delicious Ford V8 exhaust note and plenty of power. The headers are
ceramic coated to keep that fresh look forever. The engine is mated
with a Tremec five speed manual transmission - delivering great
acceleration through the gears and a nice highway cruise in fifth.
Power rack and pinion steering was installed to improve handling,
along with 4 wheel power disc brakes with a Wilwood master
cylinder. The fuel tank is high quality stainless steel from Rick's
Tanks. The rolling stock includes correct Eleanor 17"x9.5" rear
wheels and 17"x8" front wheels shod with Nitto 555G2 tires. The
hood and deck lid hinges are billet items from Ring Brothers and
Mustangs to Fear. You'll stay cool with a Vintage Air "Gen IV" air
conditioning and heating system, with killer in car audio from an
Alpine system with amplifier and sub woofers (your neighbors will
hate you). The interior features Dakota HDX gauges to maintain the
look and feel of the originals, but with better accuracy and
reliability. Tilt steering, Shelby pedal box, console, and a
Detroit Speed wiper system replace the original Ford unit. The side
bolstered seats from "Mustangs to Fear". A roll bar with seat belts
and shoulder harnesses will keep you firmly in place around the
corners. A remote trunk release was also installed. If you like what
you see in the pictures, you'll love this car. It's a great
combination of performance, handling, styling, and creature
comforts, and a guaranteed head-turner. ...
