Vehicle Description
1971 Chevrolet C10 Single Cab, Short Box - Custom Built by All
Speed Customs - LS 6.0L V8 - Tuned By Baker Engineering - Two Tone
Green And White Paint - Custom Rugged Tan Interior - Vintage Air
A/C - SW1 Streeter Wheels - Stunning, Show Winning Build! To the
uninitiated, this may look like a standard, classic Chevy pickup
that has been restored down to the fine details. The ride height
has been lowered a little, and a set of aftermarket wheels have
been added to it. However, to many enthusiasts, there is still a
question of what more is done to the truck, especially after taking
a peek through the windows. The interior is finished in a unique
color and features very nicely integrated aftermarket pieces. All
of the curiosity and analysis makes sense, as there is a GM LS V8
engine under the hood which has been tuned by engine and tuning
experts Baker Engineering. This truck is the total package thanks
to unique looks, and a modern drivetrain under the hood. Take it
out to dinner, or roll in to a car show and maybe even pick up a
trophy. This truck is versatile and usable for daily duties, thanks
to the vision of our client, and the hard work put in by All Speed
Customs of Muskegon Michigan. The truck you see here is a custom
1971 Chevrolet C10 finished in white and green paint over a brown
interior. Though Orange, Red, Blue, and Green were on Chevy's color
palette in 1971, they were subdued shades unlike the bright green
of this truck. The exterior of this C10 is simply stunning, and
restored in a way that is extremely close to the way this truck
would have rolled out of the Flint Michigan production plant.
Standard trim separates the white section of the body from the
green sections, the eggcrate grille refllects classic styling,
along with the 'Chevrolet' nameplate on the tailgate, and chrome
bumpers on either end of the truck. The exterior lighting is
standard, save for the upgraded headlights, as the standard sealed
beam headlights can be a bit dim compared to modern options on the
market today. Five-spoke TorqueThrust style wheels wrapped in
sticky Nitto tires finish off the exterior styling. Like the
exterior, the interior is very nicely finished. Fit and finish is
exceptional for a custom truck like this, and thanks to the very
nice fit and finish the interior as a whole feels as though it
could have come from the factory this way. Aftermarket silver face
gauges are neatly installed in the factory gauge locations, a
modern radio in the factory size and shape is mounted above the
standard-looking HVAC controls which is a VintageAir unit. Aluminum
pedals and a wood rimmed, split-three-spoke steering wheel add to
the sporty side of this truck. Under the hood is a 6.0 Liter GM LS
V8 mated to an automatic transmission. The engine was tuned by
Baker Engineering who are local experts in engine tuning. In our
video you can hear that the engine emits a nice sound through the
exhaust. Not aggressive, but when opened up you can definitely hear
it. The underside has clearly been restored, and shows nice new
suspension pieces and the frame is clean. Other highlights of the
underside are the exhaust system consisting of headers, going to a
pair of Magnaflow mufflers, and a fuel cell at the rear with a
filler cap integrated into the bed of the truck. To the untrained
eye, this truck may pass as a restored, classic Chevy pickup that a
set of aftermarket wheels have been added to. This truck is a
smart, well thought out build featuring styling that is just enough
to turn some heads on the road. Don't let this one pass you by!
