If not, know out of 33,493 Trans Am’s produced in 1981, only 1160 were the Y84 Special Editions with Auto and T tops. These have become very desirable and very collectable. This one has only 22,622 Actual documented miles. Not only does it have low mileage it still retains its original paint!! This car overall is very original. The original paint still looks amazing, but has some minor scratches and fading as you would expect with a 42 year old car. Undercarriage other than exhaust, is all original. Floor and trunk pans look new! Interior looks new! The past owner wanted leather seats so he had Legendary Interiors custom make new seat cover using Real Leather. As you know you could not get leather seats. All were either cloth or vinyl. So yes, it has that new leather smell inside! The T Top seals are in excellent condition and tops do not leak. Ac blows ICE COLD!!! Comes with a booklet showing every piece of paperwork from new! Car is all numbers matching. It’s getting impossible to find these cars in original condition like this one.
