Let’s start with the history of this vehicle and how it came to fruition and a list of all the features and options. Please note that all manuals, pictures, and literature are available with this classic.
The restoration process started in 2008 with a basic “shell” of the vehicle and a list of “must haves” and “features” upon completion. This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Sedan that sits on a California Chassis has only 1,600 miles and comes equipped with a ZZ4 CRATE engine. Done in a Corvette Atomic Orange, it’s MUNCIE 4 speed with Gear Venders overdrive making it an 8 speed with the overdrive switch on shifter. Dagman Chrome Conical-Shape Bumper Guards (Bullet Bumpers) and Dakota Digital Instrument System followed by a Dakota Digital Alarm and remote System to keep your 5 to 1 Play Station 3 (power inverter) and 3 display screens safe (Speakers custom inserts in seats). Air Ride Suspension (Air Bags & Air Springs) are included to help with towing and hauling with safety and comfort. This helps you easily adjust the ride height of your vehicle. Safety switch for operation is in rear passenger seat. With True-Trac differentials and a 12 bolt rear 4:11 gear posi and custom headers (angle plug head), torque thrust carb covers, dual fans so you can bet this beauty marks it’s territory. Air ride in rear, De arched springs in rear and Flaming River column and Rack and Pinion is supported by 4 wheel disc brakes, AC and a stainless fuel cell. Switch for fuel pump is under drivers seat. Even the Claibers are painted same as the vehicle. The interior shows that no expense was spared with its restore. Glide engineering seats with a custom (handmade) console shows this genuine leather interior showcases the Dakota Digital gages well. The headliner alone was installed using the “rotisserie method” of literally flipping the vehicle to ensure that a 1 piece headliner would be installed. A few more of the accessories to this beauty include American Racing Torque Thrust wheels (18 & 20) and mini tubbed out. Spring perches in frame with all new glass and molding. All windows are power windows (front and back) with remote unlocking system for shaved doors. Body has original stainless steel and hood is a custom functional cowl hood. The trunk comes customized to house (2) batteries (1 for vehicle 1 for accessories) with back up camera. Flow master side dual exhaust with 4 inch tips lets this beauty roar like the beast it is. It would be hard pressed to find a 1957 Full rotisserie restore/RESTO MOD as nice as this one.
