Vehicle Description
Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 24th year in the
classic and muscle car business. Dodge's D/W series trucks were
manufactured from 1960 to 1993 using the same basic design
throughout production. By the time of the 3rd generation
(1972-1993), Dodge was using a considerable amount of galvanized
steel, resulting in even grater longevity. The combination of an
unusually durable truck and a long production run with a common
platform can produce vehicles with doors, bumpers, and grilles from
different years, sometimes making identification a challenge. This
amazing 1981 D150 Custom SE survivor is not one of those trucks.
This is without question the best preserved Dodge D-series pickup
that we've seen. Lift the hood and you'll see the legendary 225
Slant Six, one of the toughest mills ever assembled. Additional
features include power steering, power front disc brakes,
bulletproof 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission, factory AM/FM
radio, gauge package, 3.55 rear axle, 30 gallon fuel tank, and
235/75R15 tires on alloy wheels. The outstanding condition of the
interior, engine bay, and chassis are clearly visible in the images
provided. The fact that this sweetheart spent 40 of its 42 years
with one family (!) no doubt helped preserve it. One more cool
pickup from the Texas Hill Country's premier source for classic
trucks and the team that can make your dream a reality. Street
Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist
