was purchased new from Land Rover of San Antonio and was serviced
by the selling dealer while under warranty. Finished in Chawton
White over tan, this truck is powered by a 4.0 liter V8 paired with
a four-speed automatic transmission and 2 speed transfer case. We
took this Discovery in on trade from a friend of the Car Cave. He
provided us with maintenance records under his ownership which are
available for viewing upon request.The Discovery had several
modifications made by previous ownership for style and offroad
performance. A 2' suspension lift gives a proper stance to fit the
265/75R16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratec tires mounted on black 5 spoke
factory Land Rover wheels. The tires do have some age so we are
offering a tire allowance as part of the sale. Everyone has their
own opinion about tires so now the new owner can pick out their
favorite brand! The white on black theme is carried throughout the
entire exterior of the vehicle for a nice contrasting look.
Additional modifications include front winch bumper and rear
offroad bumper sourced from Lucky 8 in New York. The front winch
bumper has a Smittybilt XRC 9500 winch installed with roller
fairlead and steel cable plus some fog and offroad lights. A simple
GCC style Discovery 2 front grill was custom made for improved
cooling capacity. Factory options are plentiful as the Discovery
was part of the Land Rover luxury lineup. Those include tilt wheel,
power mirrors, power steering, ABS power brakes, power locks,
keyless entry, power windows, heated power seats, dual moon roofs,
and tilt wheel.We performed a lengthy list of maintenance prior to
listing this Discovery for sale. The exhaust system form the
collector back, steering system, and sealing up some engine leaks.
In addition we replaced both shift boots. Below is a list of
