This is a 16 year build at over 145K. 1950 Ford 2-Door Resto Mod
Built 351ci / C-6 Trans / Ford 9" Disc Brakes / AC / Leather
Interior This beauty has it ALL!
1950 Ford 2 door Resto Mod that has lived with the same owner for
the past 45 year! After truly enjoying the car as it was born, it
went in for a complete frame off restoration that started 16 years
ago with over $145K and countless hours invested to this NOW
STUNNING one of a kind Resto Mod. It retained ALL its rust-free
panels as when it left the factory, no accidents as well. Once the
body was removed from the frame, the entire frame, bottom of body,
floor and headliner received a full "Bed liner" coating with
complete sound proofing by SIKADAMP-DEXAMP Company. With absolute
perfect base to go from, every piece was new or hand built, it
received 4-wheel disc brakes, Mustang II new front suspension, rack
and pinion steering as well as a full top of the line Viking Double
adjustable coil over shocks. The best rear end is in this beast, in
the form of a 9" Ford Posi traction. To complete it's smooth as
butter ride, Custom MK BMW wheels drilled to Ford Bolt on pattern
where added, wrapped in BF Goodrich ZR4 Competition T/A tires.
To make sure nothing catches this master piece on the open road, it
was outfitted with a Ford 351CI, bored at .30 over, full Roller and
Rocker Cam system with a perfectly tuned Holley 650CFM carburetor.
The Ford C-6 transmission makes sure every bit of HP hits the rear
drive line correctly. The Exhaust note is one of a kind, running
through 2" exhaust complete with performance coating and kept legal
with Flowmaster mufflers. After the perfectly straight body had its
door handles shaved, electrics placed in it, glass done correctly,
it received a paint application that could not be duplicated today
for less then $35K. Finished in Dupont Chrome Base Gloss Black with
numerous see to the bone clear coat with Blackberry highlights. The
frame, interior and Engine compartment received the same attention
to paint detail while using Black Berry color. The interior HAD to
match this SHOW winner car, so only Leather was used. From the
bottom it was started with Wilton Black Rolls Royce quality carpet
and topped off with the finest quality Blackberry and Black Leather
available.
For those great cruises to your date night, a state-of-the-art
Sound System was installed to show winning standards. A Pioneer
AM/FM/CD player with I-Pod connection, Rockford Speakers and
Rockford Amplifier top self were installed. To makes sure every
spectacular mile you drive this car is in absolute comfort, a
vintage Air Condition and Heating system unit was installed and
fully functional to today's standards. You don't have to ask if
this car will win FIRST PLACE at any show, you have to ask, HOW
much time do you have to get to ALL the shows that it WILL win
First Place in. Comes with full documentation as well as numerous
photos from the multiple years of ownership pride. Contact with the
former owner is guaranteed and welcome for that piece of mind when
purchasing this car that COULD NOT be duplicated for less than 6
