1970 Dodge Challenger R/T, Nicely Restored. car. Features a 383
cubic-inch Magnum V8, single four-barrel carburetor, a 9.5:1
compression, the powerplant churned out a respectable 335
horsepower and 425 lbs-ft of torque. Motor Trend tested the 383 for
their November 1969 issue and achieved a 0 to 60 time of 7.8
seconds and ran the quarter mile in 15.7 seconds running 90 mph.
Motor Trend stated "the 383, a dependable engine with good torque,
makes for a good street machine. Chrome valve covers with a chrome
breather to oil filler. stock distributor with vacuum advance and
high-performance coil. Very nice engine compartment, you can tell
that the motor was outside the car when the engine compartment was
painted, no way to mask it. Oversized cast iron exhaust manifolds.
Snorkel air cleaner with magnum sticker. 3-speed TorqueFlite
automatic transmission. Stunning White Interior with Bucket Seats
and Power Windows. Beautiful wood grain dash gauge cluster and
accents on door panels. The white contrasts with the yellow paint.
We love white interiors they just make the car "pop".
Professionally applied Y1C bright yellow paint, over many hours of
body prep word. Great lines and body fit gaps. The bumpers look
spectacular all the trim and emblems is in excellent condition. The
cool air vented black hood scoop gives her "I mean business
attitude ". Similar to the same year Plymouth Barracuda, the Dodge
Challenger has a longer wheelbase, and a quad headlamp setup,
full-length tail lamps, and a distinctively different profile from
