This 1999 Chevy Tahoe LT is a really nice and super clean truck
that spent ists life in California, Oregon, and Washington. This is
an excellent example of this vintage Tahoe. This truck has been
well cared for and it shows. The body on this Tahoe is really clean
and everything appears to be original. The Gold paint also looks
all original and is still in wonderful condition. The trim and
chrome is also original and still in nice shape too. It's easy to
see this truck is from the West Coast because of how nice the
underside is. We found no rust issues with this truck.
The interior is also stock, original, and in excellent shape. The
seats, headliner, dash, carpet, and door panels are all excellent.
The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all
working. The gauges all work. The power windows and power locks are
all working. The windshield wipers, heat, horn, and AC are all
working.
Mechanically this truck is excellent. It starts easy and runs and
drives wonderful. We have receipts for $8500 that was spent
replacing the engine, brakes, ball joints, fluids, etc. The engine
is the 5.7L 350 Vortec V8 that runs strong and smooth with no
issues that we could find. The engine was replaced 16,000 miles ago
with a GM Goodwrench crate motor by the last owner of the truck.
The transmission is the 4L60E Automatic that shifts nice and it is
mated to the np246 transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. It
has the 10 Bolt rear axle with 3.73 gears and a limited slip. The
front axle is IFS with 3.73 gears. This is all sitting on a nice
set of Factory Aluminum Wheels with BFG All terrain Tires. A
complete brake job was completed at 111K and the ball joints,
shocks, tie rods, alignment, pitman arm, idler arm was done at
119K. This truck would make a great everyday driver or kid car.
