Race Van. First Generation 1961 - 1969. The Econoline was released
on September 21, 1960, for the 1961 model, development began in
1957 as a replacement for the Ford F-Series panel delivery (and the
smaller Ford Courier sedan delivery). Competing directly against
the rear-engine Chevrolet Corvair van and Volkswagen Transporter.
The Ford Econoline established multiple new design precedents
mimicked later by Chevy and Dodge. So, she is a first, with many
design setting trends, not to mention extremely cool looking with
the front sloped stance. Over $40,000 in Chassis, Suspension and
Rear End Upgrades alone! Posi traction differential. Extra Wide
Rear Tires, Great sounding "Zoomies Exhaust" with 4 Pipes on each
side. Nice, professionally applied Black 2 stage paint with White
