This 1977 Chevrolet C10 Silverado has a great classic two-tone
style and its numbers-matching V8 power. But as you look over the
whole truck, you can also see the right custom upgrades that let
this pickup be a great classic cruiser.
The best pickups have good stories. The one we're told on this one
is that it was with its first owner for 41 years. And when he gave
it up, he sold it to an admiring neighbor. That's the entire
ownership history! It's this kind of known lineage and respected
life that has led the owner to believe the low odometer may even
reflect the full actual mileage. It's also this kind of reverence
that lets you know the upgrades were done with care. The
factory-correct Santa Fe Tan and Cream was given a nice respray in
2020. It has a clean and complete look where the full Silverado
trim separates the intricate two-tone along the body and roof. And
the clean look of the body lines, grille, tailgate, and bumpers
gives it the right vintage style. Those 17-inch Ridler wheels and
polished dual exhaust tips tell you that there have been the right
investments to make sure this is a better cruiser. But part of
owning a proper truck is also making sure it stays useful. That's
why there's thick rubber protecting the bed floor, inner tailgate,
and bed sides. There's even a locking toolbox for handy items.
The tan interior is inviting. There's a clean/classic look to the
seat, the dash has a nice cover, the carpeting is plush, the door
panels look newer, and there's some tasteful wood-like trim. It
doesn't strive for perfection, and we even bet some of the details
were left worn-in just to give you that proper classic feel. But
this one wants to make sure it lives up to its true cruiser
attitude with the right long-haul features. This includes a rebuilt
air conditioning system, an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with aux
input, and a tilt steering column to give you a commanding view of
the wraparound gauge panel.
The engine bay has plenty of newer investments - including a newer
aluminum radiator - but at the heart of it all is the
numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8 block. It inhales deeply with a
four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with a sweet tune out of the
newer dual exhaust. It makes for a solid power package, and you get
to enjoy it to the fullest because the upgraded 700R4 four-speed
automatic transmission gives you better ratios and overdrive. Plus,
power steering, power brakes, front discs, and modern tires really
make for a great cruiser.
This C10 Silverado combines vintage style, the right upgrades, and
overall usefulness in a truck that has a great old-school neighbor
story. So don't miss your chance to be the first owner not on the
same block. Call today!!!
