This 1940 Ford Convertible received a complete frame off
restoration around 1980. This restoration was performed on an all
original metal, rust free car and was done to Dearborn quality. In
2000 a very wealthy, young collector purchased the car and decided
to change the color and add some modifications so a second
no-expense-spared frame off restoration was completed. It is
equipped with a, completely rebuilt and balanced using NOS parts,
1953 Mercury engine and 3 speed column shift manual transmission.
Additional equipment and options include a Columbia two speed rear
end (done by one of the best, John Conley of California), lots of
chrome all triple plated, dual carburetors, new hand-made black
canvas top, special ordered Italian leather interior, NOS dual spot
lights, original 1940 fender skirts and much more. This beautiful
Ford runs and drives excellent you won't want to miss this one!
