The 2nd generation Bronco is a vintage SUV that stands out from the
crowd due to its size and off-road capabilities. It's a highly

This particular 1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT is a rare gem,
featuring a unique Chamois/Orange/Russet multi-color stripe package
from the factory. It was built in the Michigan truck plant and
delivered to Mort Hall Ford in Houston Texas in May of 1979, as per
the Deluxe Marti Report.
What sets this vehicle apart are the impressive factory options it
came with, including skid plates, CB radio, voltage and oil
pressure gauges, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, swing away
spare tire, handling package, A/C, flip/fold rear seat, AM/FM
stereo, privacy glass, visibility group, center console, protection
group, super cooling radiator, slotted aluminum styled wheels,
convenience group, increased fuel capacity, full-time four-wheel
drive, and the Ranger XLT package. With only 348 builds featuring
this paint and trim combination, this vehicle is a unique find.
We acquired the Bronco from its fourth owner in Connecticut, where
the previous owner had restored the interior with new seats, door
panels, carpet kit, visors, and dash. During our initial
inspection, we replaced the rear window regulator and installed a
new transmission case, torque converter, master kit, and flushed
and filled the transmission fluid. Although the vehicle currently
rides on older 33-inch tires, which may need replacement, it
remains a great looking truck that can be further enhanced or
enjoyed as is. Whether you choose to take it to car shows or
off-road events, this Bronco is sure to turn heads and impress.
