1994 Porsche 911 Speedster
An air-cooled 3.6L flat-six powers the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle, and the car is also equipped with 17″ Cup wheels, an electric rear spoiler, air conditioning, RS-style door panels, and fixed-back Recaro seats. Maintenance performed in December 2017 included replacing the brake fluid, engine oil, and transaxle fluid.
Staggered-width 17″ Cup wheels feature Porsche crest center caps and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires that were manufactured in 2015. The 964 was designed with a revised suspension system utilizing MacPherson struts up front, semi-trailing arms out back, and coil springs all around. This car received a brake fluid flush in December 2017 at 13,820 miles
The interior is upholstered in black and equipped with fixed-back Recaro seats that were also found in the contemporary 964 RS. Factory features include a Becker-Porsche CR-1 cassette stereo, air conditioning, and RS-style door panels.
The 3.6-liter flat-six was rated from the factory for 247 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 228 lb-ft of torque at 4,800 rpm. A new DME relay was installed in December 2014, and the engine oil and transaxle fluid were changed in December 2017. The car has been driven little since the 2017 service.
