This 1972 Volkswagen 23-window microbus re-creation was
manufactured in 1972 by Volkswagen in Brazil. It has been converted
and customized from an original 15-window vehicle to a 23-window
Samba microbus. This microbus is powered by a 1,600cc air-cooled
4-cylinder engine that has been rebuilt to factory specifications,
with a single carburetor and an electronic ignition system. The
engine is mated to a rebuilt Freeway Flyer 4-speed manual
transmission. This vehicle features the original front and rear
suspension with redone rear drum brakes. It is painted in two-tone
Turquoise and Cream, with a sliding ragtop sunroof, two luggage
racks and a ladder. The speedometer was restored in the original
style, with an added LED light. This vehicle features Angel Eye
headlights and a complete set of trim from the luxury model,
including on the side and below the doors. Its new custom interior
is finished in in Turquoise and Cream to match the exterior and has
a 5-passenger L-shaped sofa built with a convertible bed in vegan
leather. This vehicle also has a built-in TV that can be connected
to WiFi or cellular connection and a laminated wood floor with LED
lights. It rides on 4x5.5-inch original wheels with chrome dome
hubcaps and new radial tires.
