This 1969 Chevrolet Malibu custom coupe is powered by a 5.4-liter
V8 engine that was rebuilt and includes a new crankshaft, new
pistons, a high-lift camshaft, new bearings and seals. The engine
is mated to a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission and a 3.55 ratio
rear end. It is finished in custom Omaha Orange paint with White
Pearl stripes. This Malibu is highly optioned with power steering,
disc brakes, custom white vinyl bucket seats with headrests, a
custom console with a B&M shifter and custom JEGS gauges. It
has been upgraded with a Chevrolet AM/FM radio, Astro ventilation
system, traction bars and chrome Cragar wheels. The suspension up
front was rebuilt and new big-block-engine-rated front coils were
installed. Under the hood, the engine is fitted with chrome
pulleys, valve covers, an alternator, alternator mount, thermostat
housing and an upper radiator cover. The Weiand intake is polished
aluminum, the brake booster is chromed and the coolant flows
through braided stainless-steel hoses. Repairs and upgrades to this
coupe include installing a new Holley carburetor with electric
choke and an ATI distributor, as well as replacing the engine
mounts, header and collector gaskets, radiator, drive belts,
high-torque starter assembly and power steering pump. The invoice
is included with the sale.
