Selling at the Mecum Car Auction July 6-9, 2023 in Kissimmee
Florida. Lot # F195. The last year for the Chevelle SS and the only
year for an SS wagon. Option code "Z15" (SS equipment) became
available on the station wagon for the first and last time in 1973.
Exact productions number are not available but it's estimated that
about 1,200 to 1,400 wagons were produced with SS equipment and of
those it's estimated that fewer than 200 had the 454 ci V8 engine.
This is one of just a few that remain in very good condition. 454
V8 engine, TH400 automatic transmission, air conditioning, power
steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, tilt
steering wheel, Delco AM/FM radio, roof rack and third row seating.
Odometer indicates 67,000 miles (title states exempt due to
vehicles age).
