Vehicle Description
"Ford dubbed the new V8-powered car the Model 18, and its lineup
included a variety of attractive open and closed bodies whose looks
were similar to the Model A. Among them were two coupe bodies that
quickly came to be known as the 3-Window and the 5-Window. The
3-Window has just a single side window on each flank, while the
5-Window has a large door window and a second smaller window behind
it. Both are "Deuce Coupes," with "deuce" referring to the fact
they are 1932 models." -J.D. Power
This beautifully prepared 1932 Ford 5-Window Rumble Seat Coupe is
featured in
Washington blue with black fenders, cream wheels and light brown
upholstered interior seating. After undergoing a full cosmetic and
mechanical restoration approximately 17 years ago this 1932 Ford
Coupe has been well maintained and shows only light signs of use
since completion.
This Coupe now features a 1936, 221ci 8-cylinder motor mated to a
1934 3-speed transmission with 2nd and 3rd gear synchro's. Also
provided is a hidden auxiliary fuel pump switch under the dash
which is used to prime the carburetor if the vehicle has been
sitting unused for a period of time. For safety during driving,
directionals and an additional brake light have also been
added.
As can be seen in the videos this 1932 Ford comes to a quick start
and shifts smoothly through the gears as well as being able to come
to a controlled stop. Wrap all this up with the iconic body lines
and perfect color combination and you will have the classic car of
your dreams.
