Vehicle Description
A 1961 Cadillac convertible with an impeccable pedigree! This fine,
early 60s American luxury automobile is a 32,260 actual-mile car,
documented on the title. It was purchased new from Wilson
Pontiac-Cadillac in Birmingham, Michigan on June 23rd, 1961 by a
Mrs. Elaine C. Duncan. Only two years after the car was purchased,
the Duncans moved to Thunderbird Estates, which is part of the
Rancho Las Palmas Resort in Palm Springs, California. Based upon
the vintage service records, it can be attested that the vehicle
was driven very sparingly, and remained in the care of Mrs.
Duncan-garaged at her lavish Palm Springs property-until it was
procured out of her estate in 1985. The car was purchased as a 25th
anniversary gift for a Mr. David L. Miller for his dedicated
service at the West Des Moines State Bank. This fine Cadillac still
has its original white leather interior and white vinyl convertible
top and it is finished in the correct code "46" Tunis Beige. It is
highly optioned including factory air conditioning, 8-way power
seat, E-Z-Eye glass, power steering, power brakes, power windows,
power door locks, power top, radio with rear speaker, Autronic eye,
wide whitewall tires and door edge guards. Included in the sale are
the original retail order form, dealer invoice, owner's manual,
dealer folio, warranty booklets, as well as letters and paperwork
confirming ownership history, etc. A truly remarkable '61 Cadillac
convertible in many ways!
