Vehicle Description
The legendary Steve McQueen starred as Lieutenant Frank Bullitt in
the 1968 hit movie Bullitt driving a Highland Green 1968 Mustang
390 fastback. This iconic muscle car was every bit the star of the
movie as McQueen, and in 2001 Ford revived the nameplate for a
modified Mustang GT model available only in Highland Green or
black. The new Bullitt Mustangs were an instant hit, and Ford sold
every one it could build. It only made sense then that Ford would
recylce the Bullitt name for the new S197 chassis retro styled
Mustangs that appeared for the 2005 model year. Once again
available only in green or black, the 2008-2009 Mustang Bullitts
were the truest to the original movie star car in looks with
deleted badging and matching black wheels. The 09 model for sale
here is car number 5937 and is one of only 629 green Bullitts built
for 2009, and one of only 810 total Bullitts built. This particular
Bullitt has been extensively modified with an Edelbrock E-Force
supercharger, Kooks long tube headers, Borla exhaust, Fluidyne
aluminum radiator, fiberglass ventilated hood, full Kenny Brown
suspension system, Ford Racing chassis bracing, and huge Baer
drilled disc brakes. This Mustang is a screamer with an estimated
650 horsepower on tap, and it will plant you so far into the seat
youll leave an impression. The look is mean yet stealthy, and many
a would-be competitor has been caught by surprise when the light
went green next to this Bullitt. If youre looking for an amazing
power to price ratio, set your sights on this Bullitt. Contact
