Vehicle Description
Dramatically new styling hit Cadillac showrooms for the 1967 model
year, and the Fleetwood Eldorado Coupe was now showcasing a new
razor-edged, low profile equipped with front-wheel-drive and brisk
handling! This departure of Cadillac tradition was an instant hit
for buyers looking for luxury and performance in one package,
something we find very common today. Considered by automotive
publication Car Life, as "the sort of visually distinctive,
tastefully luxurious, enormously expensive, individualistic
conveyance which characterized the classic era of automobile
design" and a coveted winner of Automobile Quarterly's Design &
Excellence Award, we couldn't agree more! Even Cadillac's own
marketing called it "the world's finest personal car"!
Minimal design changes were made for the 1968 model year, with
front disc brakes becoming standard equipment as well as the
introduction of the larger 472ci OHV V8 engine producing a whopping
375 horsepower and 525 ft. lbs. of torque! This equated to 35 more
hp and 45 ft. lbs. more torque than the previous year. With a
copious amount of standard equipment, these Eldorado's were as
comfortable as they were superior road handling vehicles!
We are proud to offer this 1968 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado Coupe
finished in factory code correct Regal Silver (16) over all
original Black Diamond Cloth/Vinyl interior (411) with Black cross
grain padded vinyl roof. Features include number's matching
original drivetrain, automatic climate control air conditioning
system, power front disc brakes with finned drum rear,
