Vehicle Description
We know this generation of Chevy trucks to be quite hardy. So it's
nice to find this 1988 Chevrolet C1500 with some updated flair and
stance, but never taking away from the feeling of a solid
fuel-injected V8 pickup.
This was born a silver truck, and that means a timeless sense of
style. But this one now goes for added distinction, too. That's why
the top half is now a bold maroon metallic, and they added a bright
red pinstripe to separate the two-tone. Bright chrome bumpers,
polished side mirrors, and updated headlights add to the shining
package. But what really makes this one stand apart is the way it
stands. The 18-inch Ridler alloys have a sporty style, especially
with the lowered stance.
Not only does the maroon upgrade look good on the exterior, but now
it also harmonizes nicely with the interior. It has a clean and
stock style with just the right well-integrated upgrades. You see
it in places like the newer seat cover with comfy velour insert and
an upgraded AM/FM/CD player with Bluetooth. There are also plenty
of factory conveniences, like power windows, power locks, tilt
steering column, and provisions for factory air conditioning (it
will need servicing to blow cold again.) So you can see how this
classic was made to be an easy cruiser.
This Silverado is known for reliable power thanks to the legendary
small block V8. This 350 cubic-inch motor is at the peak of decades
of evolution with electronically controlled fuel injection. This
one is built to drive easy, so you have power steering, power
brakes w/discs up front, and modern grippy tires afforded by the
wheel upgrade. Plus, the 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission
w/overdrive and cruise control even make the longer journeys quite
nice.
Complete with maintenance records, this is a distinctive Chevy
truck that also still has the right look to get the job done. So if
you want a useful classic pickup with added flair, call today!
