nice to find this 1988 Chevrolet C1500 with some updated flair and
stance, but never taking away from the feeling of a solid
fuel-injected V8 pickup.

small block V8. This 350 cubic-inch motor is at the peak of decades
of evolution with electronically controlled fuel injection. This
one is built to drive easy, so you have power steering, power
brakes w/discs up front, and modern grippy tires afforded by the
wheel upgrade. Plus, the 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission
w/overdrive and cruise control even make the longer journeys quite
nice.
