1987 Ferrari 328 GTS
This remarkable Rosso Corsa (red) over Tan leather, 5-speed manual,
1987 Ferrari 328 Gran Turismo Spyder (GTS) has been meticulously
cared for and maniacally maintained by only three owners during the
past 36 years. Driven just 27k documented miles, and serviced since
new by authorized Ferrari dealers & Ferrari independents, this
Pininfarina-designed 328 GTS was the highly-anticipated successor
to the Ferrari 308. The 328 featured a more aerodynamic nose,
color-matched bumpers, and a larger radiator vent on the front
hood, while retaining the distinctive side air intakes and pop-up
headlights so indicative of the 1980s. Engine displacement grew to
3.2L producing 12% more horsepower than the 308. Disc brakes and
independent suspension were standard, along with front and rear
anti-roll bars. All of the maintenance receipts and records are
available upon request and included in the sale. Notable among the
completed services are the addition of ride-height adjustable KONI
shock absorbers and performance rear springs by Carobu Engineering
in 2015. Knowing that the next owner may want ultimate purity, the
original front shocks are in a box and go with the car. A 30k
service was performed by MD Motorworks in Mission Viejo, California
in December 2019 that included the replacement of all camshaft
belts and accessory belts, replacement of tensioner bearings,
renewal of brake fluid, engine oil, engine coolant, and air
conditioning coolant. The fuel tanks were drained, and crossover
hoses replaced. The camshaft seals and coolant expansion tank were
inspected and verified. New Continental ExtremeContact tires were
installed. The third owner, a long-term client of European
Collectibles, drove and enjoyed the 328 only 8k miles in the past
three years. During that ownership, this 328 GTS was
color-corrected, ceramic-coated, and a PPF protective film applied
over the entire front clip. This 328 is well sorted and
meticulously cared for with a new compressor, the air conditioning
blows ice-cold.
The Rosso Corsa exterior of this Ferrari GTS is complemented by 16"
five-spoke alloy wheels with yellow Prancing Horse center caps,
removable black Targa top, black roof spoiler, black louvered rear
side windows, dual side mirrors, electrically-operated headlights,
color-matched bumpers, and a black rear valence that discreetly
reveals twin-pipe dual exhaust pipes.
Its caramel-colored leather interior features matching carpeting,
black/chrome trim, powered windows, the iconic gated 5-speed
shifter, three-spoke MOMO steering wheel, and a new Continental
radio with Bluetooth and hands-free capability.
This 328 GTS is powered by a 3.2L liquid-cooled V-8 engine, located
mid-ship to provide exceptional balance and handling. This engine,
producing up to 270 HP, sends power to the rear wheels through its
5-speed manual transmission. Performance is reportedly 0-60 MPH in
less than six seconds, with a top speed of approximately
163MPH.
Included in the sale of this immaculate 1987 Ferrari 328 GTS,

records from new, tool kit, jack, spare tire, OEM car cover and two
sets of keys. This Ferrari 328 GTS, with its adjustable KONI shocks
