Vehicle Description
This 1965 Ford F-100 has a cool/classic two-tone style and some
nice vintage details. But what really makes this pickup a cruiser
is the long list of solid investments like upgraded V8 power, new
wiring, LED lights, a Bluetooth stereo, cold-blowing A/C, and more.
It all makes for the kind of total package where you can't help but
love to drive this classic.
This generation F-Series stays in demand because it's stylish. The
well-defined line in the sheet metal makes for a great way to
separate the timeless red and white two-tone. And there are
terrific details everywhere from the chrome bumper to a hint of
power dome in the hood. The overall idea is that this one is an
easy cruiser. That means glossy paint but nothing too overdone so
that you get nervous driving it. And some of the attractive
upgrades are also quite handy. The liner paint in the bed is
color-matched in red, and it also means that Sunday drives can
include a hardware store run. And if you're driving late into a
summer evening, the LED headlights really make the difference when
getting you home.
The red and white theme continues inside. You can also tell they
have made solid investments here because the comfort level is much
more than just some good 'ol pickup. After all, the carpeting is
quite plush and the seat is upgraded with comfy velour inserts to
make this all quite inviting. Plus, you have well-integrated
upgrades, like a retro-style AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth, and the
air conditioner vents are housed in a machine-turned panel to match
the dash. And just like the exterior, the focus on the full package
is about being a cruiser, and so you have driver-friendly upgrades
like a wood-rimmed sports steering wheel, a tilt column, a Hurst
floor shifter for the three-speed transmission, and well-integrated
auxiliary readouts.
Under the hood is Ford's mighty 390 cubic-inch V8. It has some cool
details like the polished Cadillac-style air grabber and classic
Powered by Ford valve covers in a bold red. We're told this was
given a top-end rebuild, and there are even nice power components
like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Flowmaster mufflers on
the dual exhaust. This V8 is also supported with newer investments
in American Autowire wiring harnesses, an HEI ignition, a 100 amp
alternator, and an aluminum radiator with electric fan. This even
has the right cruiser-level features with power steering, power
brakes, and newer front bushings and shocks.
Complete with build receipts, this is a cool two-tone pickup. And
when you have a V8 truck with cold-blowing A/C, you know it's
already a very desirable vintage cruiser. Call today!!!
