Zoom Classic Cars presents this great 1955 Belvedere loaded with
1950's nostalgia. The vehicle shows beautifully with a white top
over a red body. Front & back seats have been newly reupholstered
in the OEM "ship and shield" cloth, with a new OEM headliner and
OEM copper-colored loop carpet. Additionally the kick panels have
been reproduced to the correct spec as are door cards. Although not
the original, it has a perfectly working period AM radio (original
radio included with car.) As mentioned the exterior shows well,
except for passenger side "dueling scar" ahead of front door. The
bumper chrome shows some wear, and trunk floor has rust damage, but
is in no way structural. The Belvedere sits on correct sized 7.10 X
15 radial tires and original hub caps. Finally, the exhaust fully
functioning, but could use some love (replace one glass pack cherry
bomb muffler and some tailpipe.) The original V8 pulls strong with
a recent tune up to include points, plugs, condenser, and plug
wires in addition to new hoses and battery. Aside from being a
looker, the Plymouth rides extremely smooth and has been rented
extensively for the new Netflix film "Rustin" due out this year.
