This is a 1952 Desoto Firedome with a 2000 Corvette LS1 V8 engine with 3,000 miles on it with a 4L60-E Automatic transmission with overdrive. The car was originally from Florida and was purchased and brought to California in 1998. A custom chameleon Candy Apple Red flame paint job has been applied to this classic vehicle and looks absolutely stunning from every direction in any light.
The front headlights have been customized with Ford Taurus headlamps with halogen headlight bulbs. The rear tail lights have been modified from the originals and fitted with Cadillac rear tail lights
The front hood emblem has been modified with a Fernando Desoto head emblem in place of the original Desoto emblem.
The car sits on a completely rebuilt air suspension that is adjustable with a controller on all four wheels. This is a convertible couple original vehicle with a now electric cloth top with a new motor that allows you to ride top down or top up with the push of a button.
The rear trunk holds the air suspension system and pump along with a hydraulic rear trunk control system that is controlled with a switch in the main dash board. The front and rear windows are all power and controlled with the panel on the driver door. The door locks are power and controlled from the driver side door.
The interior dash matches the exterior custom chameleon paint job and includes custom gauges, Temperature, voltage, Fuel Level, Oil Pressure, Tachometer (RPM), and a speedometer. The car has a Jensen CD player with a speaker system. The head unit functions however it is not connected to the speaker system currently.
The air suspension system includes a controller that allows individual adjustment of the pressure at each axle and wheel with the push of a button. The suspension in the vehicle allows the driver to adjust it to suit the type of ride they desire.
