In 1969, Pennsylvania Chevrolet dealer Don Yenko collaborated with Chevrolet Product Promotions Manager Vince Piggins to produce a limited run of special Camaros under the Central Office Production Order (COPO) program, creating the 1969 iron-block Yenko 427 Super Camaro, one of the hairiest Camaros of the original muscle-car era. Flash forward to 2018, and the original Yenko Super Camaro is reborn in the SVE Limited Edition Yenko/SC Camaro. The heart of this car is its supercharged all-aluminum V-8 engine, a custom-built piece (based on the 6.2L LT1 V-8) first seen in the 2014 Corvette Stingray.
