Vehicle Description
1938 Plymouth Deluxe
Why This Car Is Special
The Plymouth DeLuxe were full-sized automobiles which were produced
by American manufacturer Plymouth during the 1933-42 and 1946-50
model years.
It was an upscale alternative to the Plymouth Six, Business Six,
and Roadking.
We have a very special restored 1938 Plymouth Deluxe here at Skyway
Classics. It is a tastefully restored and customized car that you
will find so appealing.
Mechanical
This 1938 Plymouth Deluxe is powered by what we are told the
original rebuilt 6-cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission
and has mostly original parts and appearance and sits in its
detailed, painted, and restored engine compartment looking very
much like the day it rolled off the assembly line back in 1938.
It runs and drive just like it did back then too.
Interior
The re-done interior has a tan bench seat and matching rear seat,
complimented by matching door panels, finished dash with gauges,
black mat, factory three-spoke steering wheel, manual shifter on
the floor, and like the engine compartment, it looks as it did back
then.
Exterior
The restoration saw a new black paint job over the graceful lines
and fenders, chrome hood ornament, great chrome and bumpers, side
mirrors, great glass and headlights.
The underside is clean enough to eat off of and it has just the
right stance by running painted wheels with wide white sidewall
tires.
Conclusion
This is one fine and rare restored 1938 Plymouth Deluxe we have
here at Skyway Classics that you will be proud to own and drive
anywhere. It is period correct, has a special look, and will
attract admiration and crowds when you park it anywhere or take it
to cruises and car shows.
