1965 Oldsmobile Jetstar 88 Convertible finished in Burgundy Mist (N
paint code) paint, original color! This is being sold as a running,
driving project as we have had it out on our frontage road but will
need to be checked over before going on longer trips. Our
technicians also noted the brakes are quite weak, something to be
aware of again. Riding on spoke wheel covers with spinners and
white wall tires. The paint on this one shows its age throughout
the vehicle. There was only 2,870 Jetstar 88 convertibles produced!
Under the hood is an era- correct 425 V8 with a TH350 automatic
transmission. Burgundy vinyl bench seat interior with auto on the
column. Powered white vinyl convertible top (with glass rear
window) will need some attention to fold down correctly again; we
have not had down at our shop. Windshield has scratch lines where
the wipers swing, see still pictures. Wipers and blower fan both
working, radio is inop. The front seat has some damage on the
drivers' side. Exhaust would also need some TLC.
