its ability. The F-250 came standard with the longer wheelbase and
larger bed, so when it's time to get to work, this truck is up for
doing more if needed. Wide tow mirrors, a proper tow hitch with
wiring plug, spray-in bedliner, and proper 8-lug wheels with
upgraded 17-inch alloys give this one an undeniable appeal.
The beautiful green continues inside. You can tell they took the
time to make the right investments while still giving you the right
vintage charm. For example, you still have the classic bench seat,
but it's a newer cover with comfy leather for where you sit. Newer
carpeting, good door panels, and a smooth dash make for quality
fundamentals. The 3 spoke steering wheel and factory gauges have
the right classic truck feel.
Powering this pickup is Ford's big 400 cubic-inch V8. It inhales
deeper with a Holley four-barrel carburetor. The motor fires up
readily, and you'll like the tune of the dual exhaust. The C6
transmission is versatile with good gearing for acceleration, and
it also gives you proper control off-road when paired with the
two-speed 4x4 transfer case. The tires are a good pairing with this
useful package. It's the kind of total setup that can get you where
you want on or off the pavement. Plus, wherever you go, the dual
fuel tanks will take you further. Add in power steering, power
brakes, and front discs, and you have a great all-around
package.
