Vehicle Description

1963 Chevrolet C10

Everyone car hobbyist has their favorite manufactures throughout the years. Maybe you like Ford in the 30's but in the 50's the tri-five Chevys are your go to. Or maybe you are a die hard who will only ever be loyal to 1 car manufacturer your entire life. No matter what you like, it is pretty tough to argue that the 60s and 70s C/K series didn't take the win. These trucks have only become more popular over the years with clubs and car shows entirely dedicated strictly to them. In fact here in Texas every May is held the C10 nationals known as "America's Truck Event." Thousands of C10s flood into Texas Motor Speedway to show off their rides in autocross events, burnout contests, and of course a truck show. With all that popularity there must be a reason these trucks have held their value so well over the years and there is no doubt they are going to only go up in price from here. This very clean 1963 Chevy C10 1/2 ton fleetside pickup has a great look with a lot going for it. The current owner purchased it as is but it is clear that it has had a frame on restoration in the past. It has been repainted in a nice Light Blue paint combined with White accents down the sides and White Chevrolet lettering on the tailgate. The truck wears all of its stock style trim throughout which is in good shape. Up front is the original chrome bumper but in back a diamond plate heavy duty rear bumper with bumper pull trailer hitch. It has the dual rectangular side mirrors which are adjustable and chrome as well. The truck really looks good and the Cragar S/S wheels suit it well. They are wrapped with Kumho Crugen tires.

Turning those tires is the 283 V8 motor that starts up an runs well. It has been fitted with an Edelbrock Performer EPS intake, Edelbrock valve covers, Edelbrock air cleaner, Edelbrock E-Street heads, chrome alternator and a Holly Sniper EFI system. The cool thing about the Sniper set up is it incorporates the efficiency of fuel injection with the old school carbureted look. The truck has a great sound delivered through Hedman headers into dual exhaust with chrome tips that exit just behind the rear wheels. The 2 speed powerglide automatic transmission moves through the gears with ease and no problems. The truck is a smooth driver being upgraded with power steering and power brakes with a CPP brake booster.

The interior is done in a very clean White and Gray combination that looks great. The two tone look works really well together and complement each other nicely. The bench seat has been reupholstered and it is in good shape. The Black carpeting looks like new and the current owner uses floor mats to keep it looking fresh. The dash has a stock layout but the gauges have been replaced. The odometer shows 630 miles which are from when they were installed. The steering wheel/column are painted in a nice white and on the column is an aftermarket 8,000rpm Pro Tach.

This is a really neat truck and everything is working. The new owner will enjoy it for many years to come while it continues to both hold and likely appreciate in value.
